What CRM would your data analytics consulting team recommend for me?

There are many “off the shelf” CRM solutions that would possibly be suitable, but as with any service or solution, there is huge importance in getting the right one for your needs, both in terms of complexity and cost. Larger organisations may see a value in Salesforce whereas smaller businesses that require a central database of their customers may be better suited with a system such as PipeDrive or HubSpot.

I’m in the trade, surely having data systems is not relevant to me?

This depends on the size of your business and whether you have a sales team focus or not. For a plumber who gets a phone call, goes to quote, and then completes the work, you could argue that there is less need for a CRM system. However, the plumber would benefit from having a database of customers that they can go back to and re-market to again as they grow.

They could also benefit from a finance system that automates invoices once the work is completed and then sends chasing emails to ensure payments are on time – avoiding cash flow issues for the business. These are all things which we would consider in detail with our data analytics consulting service.

Will data analytics consulting manage my data systems for me?
