How can a business strategy consultant improve my business?
Your business strategy is key to everything within your business. You will already have one, even if not written down – the importance is that it is efficient, effective, and driving the decisions you make. For instance, your business objective may be to get from 10 to 20 customers a week by using social media – your strategy is how you are going to get there (assuming that this is the right thing to be focusing on)
What does a business strategy consultant do?
A business strategy consultant will create a business strategy, which includes the objectives that you want to achieve, and all financial targets, broken down into measurable blocks. For each objective there would be a documented process of what you need to do to achieve each objective along with who is going to be responsible for each task, and when the objective will be completed.
It is likely that any documented strategy for a business may run into several pages (at least) and should be made aware to each contributing member of the company.
